COVID-19 In Nigeria: Lagos Daily Infection Drops To 38, See Results For Each State
Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases as Lagos daily infection drops to 38.
Ekohotblog reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 260 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, June 7.
NCDC noted that of the 260 COVID-19 cases recorded on Saturday evening, 38 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Abia-67 FCT-40, Ogun-19 Gombe-16 Edo-14 Imo-9 Kwara-8 Katsina-8 Nasarawa-8 Borno-8 Kaduna-6 Bauchi-5 Ekiti-4 Niger-2 Ondo-2 Plateau-2 Kano-2 Sokoto-2, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “260 new cases of #COVID19; Abia-67 FCT-40 Lagos-38 Ogun-19 Gombe-16 Edo-14 Imo-9 Kwara-8 Katsina-8 Nasarawa-8 Borno-8 Kaduna-6 Bauchi-5 Ekiti-4 Niger-2 Ondo-2 Plateau-2 Kano-2 Sokoto-2 12486 cases of #COVID19Nigeria Discharged: 3959 Deaths: 354,” the tweet added.

However, Ekohotblog reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twelve thousand, four hundred and eighty-six (12486) with three thousand, nine hundred and fifty-nine (3826) people discharged and three and fifty-four (354) deaths recorded so far.
