Police Arrest 2 For Allegedly Raping Minors In Yobe
The Yobe state police command has apprehended two men, identified as Adamu Abdullahi and Mohammed Sani, for allegedly raping two minors in the Potiskum Local Government Area of the state.
This was announced in a statement by the command’s Spokesman, ASP. Dungus Abdulkarim, in Damaturu on Wednesday.
It was reported that one of the suspects, Abdullahi, was caught raping a 10-year-old girl at Aljibal Water Factory in Potiskum on June 8. The other one, Sani, was caught on June 12, defiling a 12-year-old girl at a bakery in Potiskum.

Abdulkarim confirmed both cases alleging that Sani lured the victim into a room in the factory where he had canal knowledge of her.
However, Abdulkarim assured that the suspects would soon be charged to court as investigations were still ongoing by the command’s Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.
