Two Suspected Robbers Caught With Bullets In Umuahia

Two yet-to-be identified young men have been allegedly caught with live bullets and pistols in Abia State.

They were nabbed by the vigilante group of  Umuosu Autonomous Community, Ubakala in Umuahia South Local Government Area, in the early hours of Friday, July 3rd 2020.

The mission of the suspects has not been ascertained yet but rumours are making the rounds that they planned on robbing a village chief.

The Umuosu Vigilante group were on duty when they overheard one of the suspects making suspicious calls and immediately, they swang into action and got them arrested and pistol as well as live bullets recovered from them.

Residents in the area commended the State Government for setting up local  vigilante groups in communities to help in safeguarding lives and property.
