Gunmen Kidnap Delta State Union Leader, Comrade Goodluck Ofobruku
The chairman, of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) Delta Chapter, Comrade Goodluck Ofobruku have allegedly been kidnapped by gunmen in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
Ekohotblog learned that the victim was kidnapped on his way home which is located behind Immigration Office, off the Ughelli-Asaba expressway.

The news was broken by NLC Secretary, Comrade Innocent Ofonyeade, who alleged that the chairman was adopted at exactly 8:00pm in NLC Sienna bus.
Speaking on the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the abduction happened on Sunday, July 5,2020.
Onovwakpoyeya said, “It is a case of armed robbery and abduction.
“They were actually robbing along the street when the NLC chairman was driving out and he was abducted.
“They were robbing a shop at the same time he was driving out of his compound when they took him and entered the bush.”
The PPRO said the police have started an investigation.
