Osun Records 18 New COVID-19 Cases, Discharges 13.

Osun has recorded 18 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of the infections in the state to 281.

The state also discharged 13 patients from the state’s isolation centre after testing negative to the virus.

The State’s Commissioner For Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, in a statement on Wednesday in Osogbo, confirmed the report.

Dr Isamotu said the new cases were contacts of previously confirmed cases in the state.

The Commissioner said with the new confirmed cases recorded on July 14; the state now has 140 active cases, 134 patients have been discharged, while seven deaths were recorded.

He appealed that all residents should continue observing all safety measures, including washing hands, social distancing and the use of facemask.

On the 14th of July , 463 new confirmed cases and ten deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
