EKO HOT BLOG reports that Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, a renowned Nigerian chef currently working in Oye-Ekiti, has broken her silence following the confirmation of Hilda Baci as a Guinness World Records holder.
Chef Dammy took to her official Twitter account to express her sentiments and acknowledge Hilda Baci’s achievement, referring to her as a significant source of motivation.
According to Chef Dammy, Hilda Baci holds the esteemed title of Nigeria’s most renowned chef. She conveyed her congratulations to Hilda and conveyed her best wishes for future successes. Additionally, Chef Dammy assured Hilda that more victories are on the horizon, appreciating her for being a tremendous inspiration.
On Tuesday, June 13, Guinness World Records officially announced Hilda Baci as the record holder for the longest duration an individual has cooked. This acknowledgment displaced Lata Tondon, an Indian chef, from the esteemed position in that particular category.
She wrote:
“Congratulations to the best and biggest chef in Nigeria. This is surely the beginning of greater things to come. More wins are surely coming your way ma’am. Thank you for being a huge motivation.”
It is worth noting that on the same day Hilda’s record was certified by Guinness World Records, Chef Dammy, the Ekiti-based chef, surpassed the remarkable milestone of cooking for over 100 hours in her ambitious attempt to surpass the famous chef’s record.
The culinary community has been captivated by the achievements of both Hilda Baci and Chef Dammy, as they continuously push the boundaries and showcase their exceptional talent and dedication.
As they inspire and motivate each other, their respective journeys contribute to the rich culinary landscape of Nigeria and beyond.
