Eko Hot Blog reports that family and friends of the Late Omo Oba Shaffy Adele Ajijola of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, have paid glowing tributes to the deceased.

The 84-year-old’s final burial ceremony held at the Jubilee Chalet in Epe, Lagos, on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

In separate interviews with Eko Hot Blog, the family members, and friends came forward to pay heartfelt tributes to the departed soul.

Their words resonated with affection and respect for the late prince, painting a vivid picture of a man whose kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on those he touched.

With teary eyes, Kafila, a relative of the deceased, described the late Omo Oba Ajijola as a father to all as he never shied away from moral and financial support.

“Daddy was a wonderful man; he was like a father to us. When we were young, he made sure we were safe when returning home, and he provided for all our needs. When I gave birth to my child, he supported me financially,” she told our correspondent.

“His passing is a profound loss, and I can say he was like a father to us, even though we weren’t his children. I pray that God grants him eternal rest.”

Sholola Adetutu, another family member, shared her experiences with the deceased, describing him as a man of great kindness.

“I was particularly close to Daddy, and I often had heart-to-heart conversations with him. He was a man of great kindness, and he treated us like his own,” she recalled.

“When I needed financial support for education, he not only provided the funds but also encouraged me to pursue knowledge. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his unwavering support. His passing is a heart-wrenching loss, and we mourn the departure of a man of such outstanding values and morals. I will miss him dearly, and I pray that he finds eternal peace.”

Mrs. Awoduola, a friend of the deceased’s son’s wife, attended the ceremony with her group, “25 Amiables Friends and Like-Minded.”

She said, “My colleagues and I are here today to show solidarity with our friend, who has lost her husband’s father. As friends, we stand by each other in times of need.

“From the stories I have heard about Baba, he was an exceptionally kind man who was dearly loved by people. I pray that he finds perfect peace in the afterlife, and I also hope that the family he left behind will be shielded from untimely tragedies.”

Mrs. Awoduola’s heartfelt words resonated with the gathering, capturing the essence of the late Omo Oba Shaffy Adele Ajijola’s life and the impact he had on those around him.
