Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Executive Council has felicitated with Alhaji Shakiru Akanni Seriki, popularly known as Baba Bamu, a political juggernaut and member of the Lagos Governance Advisory Council (GAC), on his birthday.
Seriki celebrated his birthday on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
In a statement on Saturday, the Lagos executive council described the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as “one of the brainboxes” of the ruling party in the state.
The council further described the celebrant as a “mentor and leader worthy of celebration and emulation.”
“The joy of every business owner is to see the business thriving. The joy of every teacher is to see the students becoming successful. The joy of every parent is to see the child growing to become somebody in life,” the Lagos executive council said.
“On the other hand, in replication, it is also a thing of joy seeing one’s teacher, leader, guardian, director, adviser, educator and mentor being celebrated on a special day like today.
“Which ever ways people have been describing Alhaji S.A Seriki (Bamu), a worthy member of Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), he befittingly deserves the accolades showered on him as a proven Progressive, a Quintessential Leader, an Incomparable Mentor, a Grassroot Mayor, a Visionary Personality, a Solid Mobilizer, a Stabilizer and Political Strategist.
“Indeed you have proven yourself as a bulwark of democracy, a quintessential leader, a true servant of the people, a role model, particularly to all progressive politicians in Lagos State and in Nigeria.
“Through clear actions and deeds, you have unambiguously demonstrated high values and contributed immensely to the development/stability of our noble party and Lagos State.
