‘A Rare Gem Has Passed’ — Epe Kayo-Kayo Festival Committee Mourns Nimotallahi Ejide’s Demise

  • Alhaja Nimotallahi passed away on April 29.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Epe Kayo-Kayo Festival Planning Committee led by its coordinator, Otunba T. J. Abass, has mourned the passing of Alhaja Uthman Nimotallahi Ejide.

She died on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

In a statement issued by the Assistant General Secretary, Epe Kayo-Kayo Festival Planning Committee, Giwa Moshood, on Sunday, the body described the deceased as a selfless, kind, and passionate member of the Epe community.

According to the festival planning committee, Alhaja Nimotallahi’s death is a “colossal loss” to the committee and the entire Epe Kingdom.

The members, therefore, commiserated with the family of the deceased and prayed to God to grant her Aljanah Firdaus.

“The entire Epe Kayo-Kayo Festival Planning Committee is devastated to hear the sudden demise of ALHAJA UTHMAN NIMOTALLAHI EJIDE which occured on the 29th April, 2023,” the statement reads.

“It is indeed a colossal loss to the Committee and the entire Epe Kingdom.

“The unprecedented act of selflessness, kindness, unrivaled passion for community service of Alhaja Uthman Nimotallahi Ejide in our midst and in the community at large remain evergreen and an irreplaceable gap in our mind and memories.
