‘A Work Of Art’ – Galatasaray Hail Osimhen’s Spectacular Bicycle Kick

Galatasaray have lauded Victor Osimhen’s spectacular bicycle kick goal in their 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor on Saturday, calling it “a work of art” in an Instagram post on Sunday.

The Nigerian forward’s breathtaking finish, which capped off the scoring deep into stoppage time during the Süper Lig encounter at Corendon Airlines Park, is set to be remembered as a landmark moment in football history.

Osimhen’s goal marked his third in the league since recovering from a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old, who previously netted in a 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa, has quickly become a vital asset for the Turkish champions.

His efforts helped Galatasaray return to winning ways, especially as title rivals Besiktas dropped points over the weekend.

Just two weeks after their dramatic win against Fenerbahce in the Intercontinental Derby, pressure on manager Okan Buruk had begun to rise due to back-to-back disappointments, including a collapse in the Europa League against Riga and a narrow 1-0 win over Alanyaspor.

Osimhen, on loan from Napoli since September, has reinvigorated Galatasaray’s campaign.

The club is eager to secure a permanent deal for the former Lille striker, but with interest from European giants like Chelsea, it remains uncertain whether they can hold on to their star forward beyond this season.
