Eko Hot Blog reports that the 8th Day Fidau Prayer for Alhaja Risikat Adeola Abass is set to hold on Friday, June 21, 2024.
The family of Alhaji Dauda Tolani Abass announced the date in an invitation card obtained by Eko Hot Blog.
Alhaja Abass, a wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away last Friday, June 14, 2024.
She was 81 at the time of her passing.
Her Fidau prayer will hold at the Lagos State Civil Service Club 14, Sobo Arobiodu GRA, Ikeja by Air Peace Office, Lagos State.
Widely known as Mama Nurse, the deceased was married to Alhaji Tolani Abass, the Head of the Abass family of Epe, Lagos State.
Her husband turned 84 on May 28, 2024.
In an interview with Radio Lagos in 2023, Alhaji Abass recounted how he met his late wife, who was in the School of Nursing at the time.
They married in 1967. It was the same year Lagos State was created following the civil war.
In 1968, Lagos indigenes like Alhaji Abass were asked to return home, prompting him to transfer his service in Abeokuta to the Centre of Excellence.
