Abducted Miyetti Allah Chairman Regains Freedom

  • The abducted Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Wakili Damina, has regained freedom.
  • Abubakar revealed that the kidnapped Chairman was released in Abuja on Friday night.

The abducted Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Wakili Damina, has regained freedom.

This was made known by the state Secretary of the association, Mr Adamu Abubakar, on Saturday.

Abubakar revealed that the kidnapped Chairman was released in Abuja on Friday night.

He stated that from Damina’s account, he was released by men suspected to be from one of the security agencies and not kidnappers as earlier suspected.

Abubakar further disclosed that the abducted Chairman arrived at his Chikara home in Kogi Local Government Area of the state to reunite with his family in the early hours of Saturday.

Speaking, Adamu expressed the gratitude of the association to the state government, police, media, and members of the public for their support and concern during the period he was abducted by the gunmen.

EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that the Miyetti Allah Chairman was kidnapped from his house by eight men dressed in military camouflage.
