Abducted Owerri Archdiocese Bishop, Moses Chikwe Regains Freedom
The Auxiliary Bishop of Owerri Archdiocese, Moses Chikwe, and some other abducted victims in the state have been rescued without ransom.
Spokesman of Imo State Police Command, Orlando Ikeokwu, who confirmed this on Friday, said the cleric’s rescue followed a sting operation by men of the Command.

The Bishop was abducted on Sunday night, along with his driver, at the World Bank area of Owerri, Imo State.
Eko Hot Blog had reported that the Christian Association of Nigeria condemned the Bishop’s abduction, describing it as the height of wickedness.
Chikwe is expected to take over from Archbishop of Owerri Archdiocese, Archbishop Anthony Obinna who has just retired.
