Abductors Of UNIABUJA Victims Contact Families, Demand ₦300m Ransom

EKO HOT BLOG reports that kidnappers of two professors and other members of staff of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) have demanded ₦300 million from families of victims.

The armed men suspected to be kidnappers had invaded the staff quarters for the institution on Tuesday morning and whisked away the victims.

According to the school authority, those abducted during the unfortunate attack are Professor Obansa and his son; Professor Oboscolo, his son and daughters, as well as Sambo Mohammed and Dr Tobins.

A day after the incident, the assailants have contacted families of the victims and are now demanding ₦50 million for each abductee.

The Public Relations Officer of the University, Habib Yakoob confirmed the development on Thursday morning.

“They have contacted the family of the victims and we learnt that they are demanding for ₦300 million for all of them,” Daily Post quoted him as saying.
