Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, today attended the 75th Independence Anniversary of India and 7th International Day of YOGA, An event organized by the High Commission of India in Abuja.
For both sets of participants, the event provided a rare opportunity to slink away from the unending demands of public service to celebrate independence, a historical berth which is symbolic for both countries, and to also engage in Yoga, a globally recognized fitness routine practiced to improve strength, balance and flexibility.

It was also a platform for Abike Dabiri to express Nigeria’s unalloyed stance of solidarity with the Asian nation, particularly in view of the special relationship Nigeria has enjoyed with India for an extended period of time.
