Abike Dabiri Attends 75th Indian Independence Anniversary

• The NIDCOM Boss created time to felicitate with India on their 75th Independence Anniversary.

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, today attended the 75th Independence Anniversary of India and 7th International Day of YOGA, An event organized by the High Commission of India in Abuja.

For both sets of participants, the event provided a rare opportunity to slink away from the unending demands of public service to celebrate independence, a historical berth which is symbolic for both countries, and to also engage in Yoga, a globally recognized fitness routine practiced to improve strength, balance and flexibility.

It was also a platform for Abike Dabiri to express Nigeria’s unalloyed stance of solidarity with the Asian nation, particularly in view of the special relationship Nigeria has enjoyed with India for an extended period of time.

With thousands of Nigerians living in India, it echoes as crucial and equally strategic for NiDCOM to continue to play its role in further harmonizing the relationship between both countries.
