Eko Hot Blog reports that Alh. Kabiru Aminu, Head of the University’s Directorate of Information and Public Relations, made this statement on Tuesday evening in Bauchi.
He claimed that the decision was made on Tuesday during a special meeting of the institution’s Senate.
The institution’s spokesperson added that the Senate’s academic schedule stated that lectures would begin on the same day for the first semester of the 2021–2022 academic year.
“The approved revised calendar further indicated that the examination for the First Semester will start on Thursday, 15th December, 2022.
“Additionally, students who have not completed their online registration are giving up until Monday, 31 October 2022 to do so.
“Students are to also note that failure to complete the registration within the stipulated time will leave the University with no option than to advise them to defer the semester,” Aminu said.
