Rotary International district 9110 has donated a sum of N2 million to support victims of the explosion in Abule Ado area of Lagos state.
In a statement on Friday, chairman of the district public image committee, Samuel Ayetutu, said that it became expedient for the District to respond to the call by the Lagos State Government for donations to the victims of the disaster.
He said, “It became expedient for the District to respond to the call by the Lagos State Government at this material time, going by the degree of humanitarian situation that suddenly occurred as a result of the inferno which devastated such a large community, claiming lives and leaving many people wounded, homeless or stranded,” the statement read.
