Acknowledging Excellence: Former Lagos Speaker Ikuforiji Applauds T.J. Abass’ Award-Winning Philanthropy At EDCAA 2023
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Former speaker of the Lagos State House Of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Sabitu Ikuforiji has applauded the philanthropic gestures of Eko Hot Blog publisher, Otunba T.J Abass.
This commendation was contained in his address at the 4th edition of Epe Division Community Annual Award organized by the Concerned NationBuilders Initiative (CNI), which held at Lagos theater, Epe, Lagos State.
It would be recalled that the CNI had on November 22 announced winners of the various categories following series of online voting.
Giving his appreciation speech after being declared as the Epe Division Man of the year, Honorable Ikuforiji appreciated Idris Olusanya and his team at CNI for bringing the development of Epe and it’s people to the fore.
“I appreciate Idris and his team for the wonderful job they’re doing giving life to a noble idea such as this.
It’s such an amazing feeling seeing our people in Epe being appreciated for their immense contribution to the development of this division”
“We may have been celebrated in so many places and but this feels special because it is coming from home”
“It’s unfortunate that My brother T.J Abass is not here. He is so deserving of his Award” he said

In his welcome address, Mr. Idris Tele Olukoya, the convener of the award, welcomed and appreciated all attendees, and provided insights into CNI’s history, mission, and achievements.
“Our mission is to change the mindset of Nigerians and you are waking the spirit of nationalism and hard work, which starts from the grassroots as the wise saying goes ‘charity begins at home’. Our NGO strongly advocate that success through positive effort is most fulfilling and rewarding.”

Highlighting CNI’s accomplishments over the past five years, Olukoya expressed gratitude to supporters and partners, including the Lagos State government and notable personalities.
