Actor Deyemi Okanlawon Recounts Being Told He, Wife Cannot Conceive
Nollywood Actor, Deyemi Okanlawon Celebrates Son on his fourth birthday
The proud father also recalled how the doctors had told him and his wife that they could not conceive, adding that his wife had cried up to her face, but he never gave up on believing that was not God’s plans for him.
The narrative, however, changed when the actor welcomed his first son on July 4, 2016.
Deyemi Okanlawon shared an adorable picture of himself and his child as a newborn, writing down how much fulfillment the birth of his child has brought to him.

“After 3 yrs of trying and then finally being told we couldn’t conceive your mum came home crying. I held her close and let her cry then when she was done I tilted up her face, looked her straight in the eyes, and told her “That’s not what God told me! We will have our children!”.
“On this day, 10th July, 4 years ago I woke up to the cry of a child my heart swelled with love and pride… and I understood for the first time the hearts of both my heavenly and earthly fathers towards me!
