Adamawa Orders Closure Of Schools
The Adamawa State Government has ordered closure of all schools with immediate effect.
Eko Hot Blog understands that the order is issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Aisha Abubakar on Friday.
“The Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development wishes to direct and announce the immediate closure of private and public schools in the state,” she stated.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, said the closure of schools was spurred by the yuletide season, saying it was to give children ample time for Christmas’s and New Year celebration

“This is to allow school children to go home early for the Yuletide and New Year celebrations.
“The schools are to resume for the second term on Monday 11th January 2021,” Wonosikou said.
