Eko Hot Blog reports that Election results have started filtering in as 10 LGA results have been made public so far in Adamawa State by INEC.

The results so far show a tight race between incumbent Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, and the APC candidate, Senator Aishatu Ahmed Binani.

Senator Binani is hoping to make history and become the first elected female governor in Nigeria.

She was the only female senator in all 19 Northern states in the last senate.
