The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr. Kayode Alabi, has urged members of the public to simply address him as “Mr”.
According to a statement signed on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Modupe Joel, Mr. Kayode Alabi said he had noted that a section of the public had been addressing him as “Chief, Engr, Elder, and Pastor.”

She said, “While Mr. Alabi understands and appreciates the intent of those who address him as such, he is neither a chief nor an ordained priest.
He also thanked the good people of Kwara state for the support that has been shown the APC led government of the state and solicited for more support to help his government serve Kwara state better.
