Adekunle Gold Slams CAN’s No-Show In COZA Pastor’s Rape Saga

Based on its statement that it doesn’t get involved in the running of churches, even in the face of mounting rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has come under attack.

One of those who have taken the Christian body to task is musician, Adekunle Gold, who took to Twitter on Sunday, with a message passed as a play upon words: “Throw CAN away.”

It all began with Busola Dakolo, wife of the singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo, accusing Fatoyinbo of raping her about 20 years ago.

Following widespread criticisms, however, CAN turned around on Sunday, promising to launch an investigation into the matter.
