Adesua Etomi, Banky W Recount Losing Twins In Miscarriage
- After the doctor learned they were no longer breathing, Adesua admitted she sobbed.
Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi and her husband, Banky W, spoke out about losing their twins to miscarriage in a heartbreaking interview.
During an episode of The Waterbrook series, the music star and his award-winning actress wife revealed this.

“So we got pregnant, and it turned out to be twins. And we’d gotten the scans and seen the heartbeats. “At this point, only a few people were aware of what had occurred,” Adesua explained.
“Every story you’ve read was a fabrication and no one knew what had happened. So, after a regular checkup, we returned to the hospital for a scan, and all I saw was the doctor’s face, sometimes you can tell when something is wrong.”

“She was checking and scanning, and I asked what was wrong, and she said ‘oh nothing,’ and I looked at the nurse’s face and asked what was wrong, and she said ‘Adesua,’ I’m searching for heartbeats, and I said ‘for the two of them?’”

The actress recalled collapsing as soon as she returned home from the hospital.
The couple discussed their plans to adopt or even use surrogacy in the future.
The couple welcomed their first child in early 2021.
