AEDC Announces Fresh Blackout In Abuja – See List Of Areas That Will Be Affected

AEDC has announced blackout in some areas in Abuja.
According to the reports Abuja will experience power outage today.
The AEDC noted that during this period, power interruptions would affect Prince & Princess Estate, Parts of Kaura District, Dubai Market, Behind Games Village, and Part of Durumi 2, Adisa Estate.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that A parts of Abuja will experience partial power outage on Tuesday, March 14.

The development was made public in a statement issued late Monday evening by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).

The management of the power company notified its customers residing along Apo-Gudu, Abuja, that there will be annual preventive maintenance at the Gudu Injection Substation today. According to AEDC, the maintenance exercise would be carried out today between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

While urging its customers to be patient, AEDC noted that during this period, power interruptions would affect Prince & Princess Estate, Parts of Kaura District, Dubai Market, Behind Games Village, and Part of Durumi 2, Adisa Estate.

AEDC listed other areas, including Sharia Court of Appeal, Federal Boys College, Sharon Plaza, Anon Plaza, Cedar Crest Hospital, MKK Plaza, Durumi 3 Shell Estate, A.A. Shafa Filling Station, Amina Court, NPI Estate, and environs.

”While we regret the inconvenience, we would like to assure our valued customers that the exercise is expected to ensure improved power supply to these areas,” the electricity firm stated.
