Eko Hot Blog reports that the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has set up a mega viewing centre for the AFCON Semi-Final match coming up between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Bafana Bafana of South Africa
Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Formerly known as Onikan Stadium is the new designated mega viewing centre for the match coming up today, Wednesday, 7th February, 2023 at 6pm.
Mr Gbenga Omotosho, the commissioner for Information and Strategy of Lagos in a statement said that Lagos, being the sports capital and base of the largest supporters of the Super Eagles, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu deemed it fit to provide an opportunity for all fans to watch the match.
Mr Governor expressed the hope that the national team will triumph in the match because the team has so far shown the capacity and technical know-how to win. Mr Omotosho said.
