Nigeria’s Super Eagles are preparing for the second leg of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya’s Mediterranean Knights.

The Super Eagles head into this match in excellent form, remaining unbeaten in their first three group encounters.

They began their campaign with an impressive 3-0 win over the Cheetahs of Benin Republic, followed by a goalless draw against Rwanda’s Amavubi.

In their latest outing, they secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Libya, maintaining their top position in Group D.

Libya faces a challenging situation, sitting at the bottom of Group D with just one point from three matches. After drawing 1-1 with Rwanda in their opening game, they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Benin Republic and were narrowly defeated 1-0 by Nigeria.

Despite their struggles, the Mediterranean Knights are determined to turn their fortunes around in the upcoming match against Nigeria. The second leg offers them a chance to seek revenge and improve their standing in the group.
