AFCON Qualifiers: Super Eagles Set To Leave Libya After Airport Delay

The Super Eagles players and officials are preparing to depart Libya after enduring a tumultuous delay of over 14 hours and alleged mistreatment by the host nation on Sunday.

This was revealed by a sports enthusiast, known as Pooja Media, through his X handle on Monday.

He wrote, “Super Eagles players and all officials are boarding to fly out of Libya to Nigeria. Thank God.”

Confirming the situation, player Bruno Onyemaechi stated, “Me and Libya, I’m done. Nothing concerns me and you anymore. Thank God I’m heading back.”
