Taliban forces on Monday morning declared conquest over Pjanshir province, the final resistance group in Kabul, following weeks of terror and unceasing insurrection.
The latest claim by the insurrectionists means Taliban now control all provinces in the state.
“Panjshir, which was the last hideout of the escapee enemy, is captured,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid revealed in a news conference.
“With this victory and latest efforts our country has come out of the whirlpool of the war and our people will have a happy life in peace, liberty and freedom.”
