African Woman Should Not Be Limited To Kitchen, Tiwa Savage Advises

Popular female musician, Tiwa Savage, has put up with her thoughts on the contemporary African woman on social media.

The beautiful artiste said most Africans still believe that the African woman should be timid in nature.

She added that it is not bad for a woman to be submissive but she felt that modern African woman is not allowed to express her views as expected.

Tiwa moved further to say that some even have the idea that woman has no other things to offer in relationships than to be in the kitchen and the other room.

She said the woman is created to do unlimited functions on earth, saying that she should not be limited to do other functional activities because she is in a relationship.

In her words: “A lot of people in Africa still have the idea that a woman has to be submis*sive, stay at home and be the wife and mother. Don’t get me wrong. Those are great morals to keep. But I think the modern African woman, the modern black woman is being limited. We can do both.”
