Nigeria has lost yet another top personality as popular comedian Ada Jesus passed away on the morning of Wednesday, April 21.

The popular female comedian whose real name is Mmesoma Mercy Obi reportedly died in Abuja after battling kidney disease for months.

A few days ago, the comedian was surrounded by well-wishers as she celebrated her birthday at the hospital. The young lady, who battled kidney disease before her death, sought the forgiveness of people she offended including actress Rita Edochie and controversial prophet Odumeje.

The news of her death was confirmed by a close associate Harrison Gwamnishu who shared a photo of the comedian with the message of her death on Facebook, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

He wrote;

“Thank you everyone. Rest In Power Mercy Nmesoma”.

Ada Jesus’ death will come as a shock to many with recent report showing that she was responding to treatment.
