Afuye Williams Congratulates Alara Of Ilara On New Appointment

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Akeweje of Ilara Kingdom, Chief Afuye Oluwaseun Williams, has congratulated Oba (Dr) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (JP), Telade IV, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State, on his appointment as the Diocesan Adviser on Traditional Institutions to The Diocese of Lagos of Anglican Communion.

Williams’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued on Saturday.

The monarch was appointed the Diocesan Adviser on Traditional Institutions in a letter dated Thursday, April 25, 2024.

The Diocese of Lagos of Anglican Communion commended him for his “productive Christian life” and “invaluable contributions” to his local parish which led to the appointment.

Congratulating Oba Ogunsanwo, Williams said his appointment as Diocesan Adviser on Traditional Institutions points to evidence of his “exemplary leadership” and “profound commitment” to his people’s welfare.

The Akeweje prayed for a prosperous, peaceful, and harmonious reign for the Alara.

“On this auspicious occasion, it is with great joy and honor that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Your Royal Majesty Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr) Olufolarin Olukayode OGUNSANWO (JP), TELADE IV, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State,” he said.
