The social media coven went agog on Tuesday following the imminent launching of a book written by chairman of national union of road transport workers (NURTW) in Lagos state, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo.
The personality of the author is as astounding as the title of the book which leaves many stupefied.
Many residents of Lagos, especially the educated ones, regard MC Oluomo as a run-of-the-mill chairman of a ragtag transportation association, who has morphed into into a tool of oppression in the hands of politicians.
Many believe that the refusal of Lagos State government to clampdown on the vicious activities of MC Oluomo and his cahoots and the diversion of funds that should go into government pocket into private hand, was because he serves an unconscionable purposes during election.
There’s a notion that the free reign given to NURTW in Lagos is the reason behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) domination in the state.
There are also speculation conjectures that MC Oluomo might be eyeing a political office despite his lack of formal education.
The emergency of his book has however somewhat reinforced the speculation of his aspiration for public office in Lagos state.
It is not yet clear what the book is about but from the title, my service to humanity, MC Oluomo is expected to chronicle his act of benevolence and altruistic disposition aimed at advancing the cause of humanity.
However, mixed reactions have begun to trail the emergence of the book, while some turn the development to source of derision others make scary projections.
A twitter user opined that the book is part of the grand effort to launder the image of MC Oluomo in advance for the materialisation of his political aspiration.
