Ahmed Musa overtook goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama and defender, Joseph Yobo to become the player with most senior team appearances for the Nigerian super eagles.

The 29-year-old achieved this feat during the 2 – 0 win against Liberia on Saturday where he came on in the 89th minute to replace Joseph Yobo.
The winger had equalled Yobo and Enyeama’s record having earned his 101st cap in the 2-0 win over the Central African Republic on October 10.
Musa made his senior debut on August 5, 2010, in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar.
