In a reactionary comment, one of the guests at the late AIG’s funeral who pleaded anonymity described Bishi’s demise as a huge loss to the police force, Lagos State and Nigeria by extension.
He described the late Bishi as a public servant whose dedication to the Nigerian cause remains unmatched and prayed for the ultimate repose of his soul.
Until his demise, Omololu Bishi was the highest-ranking Lagosian within the Nigerian Police Force and had been widely tipped to ultimately assume the mantle of Inspector General in view of his exemplary and distinguished career in the police force.
Speaking on the person of the highly charismatic AIG, Otunba TJ Abass, Publisher of EkoHotBlog said Bishi was a rare individual whose demise echoes as an incredible loss to Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
