Aisha Buhari Flown To Dubai Amid Growing Health Concern

Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has been flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), as concerns mount over health condition, Daily Trust understands.

According to the newspaper, Aisha suffered incessant neck pains after returning from a condolence visit to Florence Ajimobi, widow of a former governor of Oyo.

The first lady was said to have gone on 14 days isolation after visiting Ajimobi’s family in Lagos state.

However, after the isolation, the president’s wife reportedly continued to experience the pains, prompting the Dubai trip.

According to the report, the first lady is now in stable condition but the Dubai trip is necessitated by the need to ensure full recovery of the first lady.

The first lady was last seen in public when she observed the Eid El-Kabir prayers with her family.

Pictures released at the time showed that the prayers were held in line with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.

The president and his family did not receive any guest during the celebrations.
