The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari has been given six new aids to work as special assistants to the office of the First Lady.
This came following the approval of her husband, President Buhari to allow her have six new aids to work with her on various assignments her office would be embarking on.
The development was revealed in a statement by the Director of Information, Office of First Lady, State House, Abuja.
The statement further noted that the various appointments was to take effect immediately.
The new appointees include the wife of former Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Mairo Almakura has been appointed Special Assistant on African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM), Muhammed Albishir is appointed Special Assistant on Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD), Wole Aboderin is appointed Special Assistant on Non-Governmental Organizations.
Other appointees are Barr. Aiyu Abdullahi is the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Zainab Kazeem, Special Assistant on Domestic and Social Events and Funke Adesiyan, Personal Assistant on Domestic and Social Events.
