Spanish football star Aitana Bonmatí has claimed the Best Women’s Player award at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2024, marking her second consecutive win and further cementing her status as one of the sport’s elite.
The accolade adds to her two Ballon d’Or titles, making her one of the most decorated players of her generation.

“I’m grateful and proud to receive this award,” Bonmatí said via video link from Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium.
Bonmatí played a pivotal role in Barcelona’s historic quadruple-winning season, securing the Spanish league, the Copa de la Reina, the Supercopa de España, and a second successive Women’s Champions League title in the 2023/24 season. She also led Spain to victory in the Nations League.
