Akeredolu vs Ajayi: Journalist Barred From Ondo Assembly As Security Operative Take Over

As Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his Deputy Agboola Ajayi, continues to embattled, security operatives have been deployed to the complex of the Ondo State House of Assembly.

According to reports, at least 10 vehicles of the Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, were spotted at different locations within and outside the Assembly.

Following this security operatives has barred journalist from entering the complex to monitor the proceedings.
Confirming who gave the order, a security personnel revealed that the leaders of the house were responsible.

Meanwhile, only three journalists from government-owned medium will be to be allowed to cover the proceedings, according to the security personnel.

It is not certain yet if the sitting was connected with the plan to begin impeachment proceeding against the embattled Ajayi.
