Ekohotblog reports that the administration of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye in Eredo LCDA on Wednesday commissioned three new boreholes to provide clean water for residents.
The boreholes, each with a capacity of 8,000 liters, were installed at Brown Roof Estate (Agric Yes) Araga and Red Roof Estate (Agric Yes) Araga, along with a 4,000-liter borehole at Olamoyegun Street, Imokun, and were welcomed with enthusiasm by the community.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Akinloye assured residents that more improvements were on the way. He promised that his tenure would continue to focus on infrastructure development and enhancing the lives of people in Eredo LCDA.
“This is just the beginning. We will do our best to work on other projects that will benefit everyone in our communities,” he said.
Mrs. Stella Odufisan, a prominent APC leader in Eredo LCDA, encouraged the residents to maintain the new boreholes and expressed gratitude to the government for its dedication to improving their lives.
The Chief Imam of Imokun, Imam Abdulwaheed Olufowobi, also thanked Hon. Akinloye for his commitment to developing Imokun.
He praised the chairman for other recent projects, such as the newly repaired roads, the perimeter fence at UPE Primary School, the installation of a 500KVA transformer, and the new borehole.
“We appreciate all your efforts to make Eredo LCDA a better place, and we promise to always stand by you and support you at all times,” he assured the chairman.
