Eko Hot Blog reports that HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja JP, the Paramount Ruler of Odo-Noforija, Lagos, has granted the prestigious Aladeshonyin Scholarship Award to four exceptional students from Pobuna Grammar School, Poka, Epe.

During the award presentation at his palace, Oba Ogunlaja underscored the importance of recognizing academic excellence. In the face of economic challenges, he stressed the need to inspire students to aim higher while providing support to parents.
“In recognizing academic excellence, we aim to inspire students to reach for higher achievements while providing crucial support to parents, particularly in the current economic climate. The scholarship is a symbol of hope, encouraging recipients to redouble their efforts and excel in their studies.
“We are proud to witness the joy and gratitude of the selected students, and their pledge to intensify their academic pursuits further motivates us to continue investing in the education and well-being of our youth,” added Oba Ogunlaja.

The four selected students, Abubakri Nimot (JSS3), Adeyemi Bethany (JSS2), Adenuga David (SS1), and Soliat Ogundeko (SS2), along with their elated teachers, radiated joy and gratitude towards the monarch.
