Ojude Oba Araromi: Alayandelu Of Odo Ayandelu Kingdom Seeks Unity

Alayandelu of Odo Ayandelu Kingdom has called for unity during the Ojude Oba celebration.

Eko Hot Blog reports that His Royal Majesty, Oba Asunmo Aderibigbe, the Alayandelu of Odo Ayandelu Kingdom, has urged the people of Araromi and Ibeju Lekki to work together as one family, just like their ancestors did.

He spoke during the Ojude Oba celebration in Araromi, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State.

Speaking at the event, Oba Aderibigbe emphasized the strong historical bond between Araromi and Ibeju Lekki.

He warned against letting any outside influences create division.

“We must follow the example of our forefathers, who lived as one united family,” said Oba Aderibigbe. “We should not allow any other community to come between us.

Such interference can only bring enmity, and those who cause division will simply return to their own towns, leaving us to deal with the aftermath.”

Oba Aderibigbe urged everyone to resolve any existing grudges or disputes and to live in peace and harmony.

“I beg of you, let us settle our differences and continue to live in peace. Our strength lies in our unity, and we must cherish and protect it.”

His message resonated deeply with the audience, many of whom committed to fostering a more cohesive and supportive community.

The Alayandelu’s call for unity is seen as crucial for maintaining the social fabric and cultural heritage of Araromi and Ibeju Lekki.

Community leaders and elders echoed Oba Aderibigbe’s sentiments, promising to work towards mediating any conflicts and promoting understanding among the people.

The event ended with traditional performances and communal activities, celebrating the shared cultural heritage and bonds of friendship.

Oba Aderibigbe’s appeal is expected to inspire a renewed sense of togetherness and cooperation among the people of Araromi and Ibeju Lekki.
