When birthdays are celebrated, it is not only to mark the length of life of celebrants, but also to give them a special feel to see how much people around them care and love them.
Certain birthdays–such as the 1st, 18th and the turn of decades–carry special cultural significance in different parts of the world. Seventieth birthdays, however, belong in this category of noteworthy special birthday celebrations.
It is in this spirit that friends and family members will, on August 28, gather at a special thanksgiving prayer to celebrate Alhaji Kaka Nosiru Adekunle as he clocks 70.
The event, which is strictly by invitation, will hold at the celebrants residence in Ijeshatedo, Lagos in full compliance with government’s COVID-19 safety protocols.
