This year’s edition featured a blend of colourful cultural displays, emotional tributes, and moments of inspiration that highlighted the spirit of the Epe people.
Delivering his keynote remarks, the Founder/Director-General of CNI and Chief Organiser of the awards, Mr. Idris Tele Olukoya, described EDCAA as a unifying celebration that goes beyond trophies and applause.

He said, “All nominees, whether they won or not,are notable individuals recognized by the community.”
He added, “In every competition, there is always a winner; that is why everyone cannot get the award. But their works are known, their footprints are seen, and their contributions remain invaluable.”
Mr. Tele also emphasized that the organizers intentionally do not nominate previous awardees to ensure that more individuals are given the opportunity to be appreciated.
In his words, “We don’t allow previous awardees to be nominated again because there are many people truly contributing to the growth of the community, and they also deserve to be celebrated.”
This year’s edition saw honourees across diverse fields, including education, community leadership, security, public service, entrepreneurship, youth development, humanitarian service, and cultural preservation.
Each awardee shared stories of passion, sacrifice, and dedication to the progress of Epe Division.
Guests and participants praised the organisers for sustaining a platform that not only uplifts achievers but also inspires younger generations.
