Ambode Revalidates APC Membership, Implores Progressives To Follow Suit

By Babatunde Kaka

The immediate past Governor of Lagos State,  Akinwunmi Ambode, has revalidated his membership with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ambode partook in the exercise on Saturday 13th February 2021 alongside his wife, Mrs Bolanle Ambode and associates at Polling Unit 31-32, ward A5, Ogunmodede College, Papa, Epe, Lagos State.

Addressing newsmen after the revalidating his membership,  the former governor described the exercise as hitch free and credible.

He further stated that he found the exercise pertinent to carry out with the firm belief that the strength and progress of the party are beneficial to all Nigerians.

Ambode, therefore, appealed to all progressives and lovers of the party to troop out to register their membership stating that such was the only way to take the party to the next level.

” This is just to lay credence to the credibility of the exercise and that is in accordance with what Mr President had already done.

” I have also found it necessary that I need to come and revalidate my membership with my household and we believe strongly with this exercise, APC is going to get stronger in a new and modified progress that we crave in the APC. And it is going to be better for all Nigerians.

“So, I encourage all other people, all progressives and lovers of the APC to come out and start to register their membership. That is the only way that we need to make progress in the APC”, he said.
