#AnambraDecides: INEC Begins Collation Of Election Results

  • INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner announced Vice-Chancellor, University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Obi as the returning officer.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun the collation of results for the 21 local government areas of Anambra State in Saturday’s governorship election.

INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr Nkwachukwu Orji in his address announced Vice-Chancellor, University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Obi as the returning officer.

The collation also has returning officers for the political parties Chibuzor Obiakor for APC, Alex Obiogbolu for PDP and Victor Umeh for APGA among others.

EKO HOT BLOG had reported how candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Chukwuma Soludo defeated other main contenders in their local government areas by a significant margin.

Soludo, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are all from Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
