Andy Murray is set to coach his former rival Novak Djokovic at the 2025 Australian Open.
The British three-time Grand Slam champion retired in August after a stellar 19-year career but is now stepping into his first coaching role.

Murray expressed excitement about the collaboration, saying, “I’m looking forward to spending time on the same side of the net as Novak for a change.”
The two will work together during the off-season and in preparation for the Australian Open, scheduled for 12-26 January.
Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion and 10-time Australian Open winner, has a storied history with Murray, including four finals in Melbourne where he came out on top.
The Serbian tennis star shared a lighthearted video on X featuring moments with Murray, cheekily captioned: “He never liked retirement anyway.”
“We played each other since we were boys, 25 years of being rivals, of pushing each other beyond our limits,” Djokovic said.
“We had some of the most epic battles in our sport. I thought our story may be over – turns out it has one final chapter.
“It’s time for one of my toughest opponents to step into my corner.”
