Some angry villagers have killed at least two bandits in Sanga Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.
Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan confirmed that the incident occurred on Thursday.
Two of the bandits killed had reportedly mugged a businessman and taken his money and other valuables at Fadan Karshi in Sanga LGA.

Aruwan explained that on receiving the information of the attack, security operatives set out to the location.
On arriving at the scene, the security officials found out that some aggrieved residents had already mobbed the bandits and burnt them to ashes.
Reacting to the development, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai appealed to residents of the state to continue to respect the law and not resort to jungle justice.
