Angry Youths Destroy Family House Of Suspected Killer Of Uyo Job-Seeker
- The family house of Uduak Akpan, the suspected killer of a job seeker, Miss Iniubong Umoren has been vandalised by aggrieved youths from Nnung Ikono Obio in Uruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
- It was learnt that the angry youths carted away all the properties in the building and took the father of Uduak Akpan to the police.
The family house of Uduak Akpan, the suspected killer of a job seeker, Miss Iniubong Umoren has been vandalised by aggrieved youths from Nnung Ikono Obio in Uruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the youths, after setting the security house of the one-storey building on fire, used heavy stones to vandalise the building on Tuesday.
It was learnt that the angry youths carted away all the properties in the building and took the father of Uduak Akpan to the police.
Speaking, the youths explained that their action was predicated on the alleged complicity suspected killer in the murder of the 26-year-old Umoren, a graduate of philosophy from the University of Uyo.
A witness disclosed that “they broke the louvers and the glass doors with the help of heavy pebbles and sticks and carted away everything in the building.”
The president of the youths in the area, Etubom Sunday Essien, further expressed displeasure over the evil act carried out by one of their own.

“The action of manslaughter committed by the suspect, Uduak Akpan, is an offence which is not condoned in the community.
“There is nothing happening apart from the one you have already heard. It’s not good for the boy to kill his fellow human being.
“We don’t know that is what he has been doing, that is, manslaughter. That is what we have heard that he is doing. That is the reason we took this action,” Essien said.
EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that the victim had gone missing while attending a job interview in Akwa Ibom last Thursday after she tweeted via her handle, @HinyHumoren, that she needed a job and some persons had suggested prospective employers to her.
However, the news of her death broke out on social media as one of her friends disclosed on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday that Humoren was raped and killed by one Uduak Frank Akpan.
Frank disclosed that he buried Humoren in a shallow grave after he had discovered that the lady had passed away.
The suspected killer was arrested in Uruan after he absconded from Oron, Akwa Ibom State due to the strong uproar on social media.
He has since been handed over to the DPO of Uruan Police Station for further persecution.
