Wale Anomo Fulfills Electrification Promise To Government College Ketu

Wale Anomo has fulfilled his electrification promise to Government College, Ketu.

Eko Hot Blog reports that, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has fulfilled his commitment to Government College, Ketu, by presenting a brand-new 200 KVA transformer to the school.

It has been described as a notable move to resolve electrification issues and ensure a stable power supply on the school premises.

Earlier this year, the school reported a blackout caused by a faulty transformer, prompting them to reach out to Anomo for assistance.

True to his word, the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA boss pledged to address the issue, and today, he delivered on that promise.

During the official handover ceremony, Anomo reiterated his administration’s dedication to enhancing the educational environment and the overall development of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

He stressed the importance of reliable electricity in fostering academic excellence and creating a conducive learning atmosphere for students and staff.

“The provision of this transformer aligns with our administration’s commitment to prioritizing education and community development,” Anomo stated.

“We recognize the critical role of a stable power supply in our schools and communities and are dedicated to ensuring our students have the best possible environment to excel.”

Representatives from the school, including Mr. Oyerinde A. Lookman, the Director of Education and Vice Principal of the Senior School, expressed profound gratitude to Anomo and his administration for their timely intervention.

They noted that the new transformer would significantly mitigate the power outage issues that had previously disrupted the school’s operations and academic activities.

“The donation of this transformer is a game-changer for us,” remarked Mr. Oyerinde.

“It will vastly improve the learning conditions for our students and facilitate smoother administrative functions.

“We are deeply appreciative of the Chairman’s dedication to improving Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.”

Students and staff of Government College, Ketu also shared in the excitement.

They highlighted the positive impact the new transformer would have on their studies, especially in the use of technological tools and resources that require a stable power supply.

This latest initiative underscores consistent efforts of Akogun Wale Anomo in fulfilling his promises and addressing the needs of the Ikosi-Ejinrin community.
